Cerelac does not contain many a nutrients important for dog and cat. e.g; Cysteine and Taurine. Taurine, an amino acid  is very essential especially for cats and large  breed of dogs . Cerelac also does not contain adequate amount of Biotin and Zinc (required much more than human beings), which are very essential for skin health.

DYK : Human Biscuits should not be given to dogs!

They contain high saturated fat (vanaspati) which act as greese for dogs and therefore not easily digested by them. In the long run and in high doses, it causes vomition, diarrhoea and abdominal pain to begin with.

DYK: Chocolates are harmful for dogs!

Theobromine , an alkaloid found in chocolate is poisonous for dog in the long run as it can not be metabolized by them. The toxicity symptoms shown in dogs are vomiting , diarrhoea, hyperactivity, tremors, seizures, abnormal heart rhythms and death in severe cases.
